Where do these blocks come from?
They are brand new chunks of 6061 T6 billet and extrusion, as well as left over blocks from our CNC machining process at SendCutSend. We source from US and Canadian mills.
Is the banana included?
Sorry, no. We just use the banana to help show how big the block of aluminum is. It's our Official Banana for Scale™ lol
What do you use to cut the aluminum blocks?
We use a big 'ol bandsaw (Haas HAB-3232 Automatic Bandsaw to be specific). It can cut stock up to about 12.5" square, and holds tolerance of about 0.010" per cut. The automatic hydraulic blade tension is nice, it helps keep the cuts nice and square for ya.
When will I get my order?
Orders placed before 3pm PST usually ship the same business day. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information and tracking. Delivery times vary depending on your location. Expect 1-3 days of transit west of the Rockies, and 2-4 days east of the Rockies.
What is the return policy?
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right. That being said, please expect scratches and blemishes on your aluminum blocks.
Can I get a discount if I need a lot of aluminum?
You bet. Email us at banana@sendcutsend.com and we'll see if we can get you a custom quote for orders over 200 units.
Where is the 6061 aluminum manufactured?
All of our aluminum is sourced here in North America. Some is US, some is Canadian. Certs are available upon request.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on all orders over $29. If you need your blocks extra fast, you can upgrade the shipping method at checkout.
Help! I need my blocks tomorrow! Can you rush?
We'll do our best! For rush orders, we recommend ordering before 3pm, Monday - Thursday. Select any in-stock block and choose overnight shipping at checkout. We'll get it on a plane that evening. Sorry, no Saturday/Sunday deliveries.
Can I talk to a human if I have questions?
